American UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland And Dricus Du Plessis from South Africa underwent the weighing procedure before the fight for the title at the tournament in Toronto, reports the press service of the promotion.
Strickland weighed 83.8 kg, Du Plessis showed 83.46 kg on the scale.
Strickland has 28 wins and five losses. Du Plessis has 20 victories and two defeats. The South African has been competing in the UFC since October 2020 and has six championship victories.
Russian featherweight Movsar Evloev posted 66.11 kg on the scale during the weigh-in ceremony. During the tournament, he will fight with the British Arnold Allen (65.9 kg).
Evloev, 29, has fought 17 fights in his career and won 17 times. Allen, 29, has 19 wins and two losses.
