President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev promised Alexander Emelianenko apartment if the mixed martial arts fighter lives a sober life until the end of this year.
In the summer of 2023, Emelianenko began attending a rehabilitation course in Ingushetia. In January 2024, the head of the Boxing Federation of Ingushetia, Lom-Ali Gazgiriev, told that the fighter had completed rehabilitation and left in good health.
— We have an argument with Sanya: if by the end of the year he is in the same fighting form and with good results, then I will pay for the apartment. No alcohol, only sport,” Kremlev said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
“Thank you for such an argument,” Emelianenko replied.
