Russian mixed martial arts fighter Movsar Evloev defeated the British Arnold Allen in the fight of the UFC 297 tournament, which takes place in Toronto (Canada).
The featherweight fight lasted all three rounds and ended with Evloev’s victory by unanimous decision. In the third round, Allen hit Evloev with a knee to the head, the referee did not punish the Briton, and the Russian received a cut. After a pause, the battle resumed.
In mixed martial arts, Evloev, 29, has 18 victories and no defeats. In his last fight, in May 2023, he beat Brazilian Diego Lopez by unanimous decision. Allen, 29 (19 wins and three losses), lost by decision to American Max Holloway last April.
