Boxers can hold a third face-to-face meeting
British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) can fight against his compatriot – Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs). Promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about the possibility of the fight.
“I love the idea of having a fight between Chisor and Whyte. This couple has always had great fights, ”said Hearn.
In July, Chisora won the vacant WBA International belt by defeating Kubrat Pulev. The title of a full-fledged WBA champion belongs to Oleksandr Usyk.
Dillian Whyte lost to Fury by TKO in the sixth round for the WBC heavyweight title in April.
Note that Chisora and White in December 2016 had a fight for the title of mandatory contender for the WBC heavyweight world title – then Dillian won on points.
In the second full-time fight, which took place two years later, Chisora lost to White in the 11th round. Dillian’s victory brought him the WBC Silver and WBO International heavyweight titles.
