The WBC world super heavyweight champion still cannot forget his trilogy with the American boxer.
Deontay Wilder is Tyson Fury’s toughest opponent. This is what the WBC super heavyweight world champion himself thinks.
The British boxer still remembers his trilogy against the American, noting the power of his opponent’s punches.
“My toughest opponent is Deontay Wilder. I fought this guy three times and every second of those fights could have closed the curtain on me.
Deontay Wilder has dynamite in his fists. If he hits, it doesn’t matter if it’s the first or twelfth round, he’ll knock you out,” Fury was quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
Let’s remember that Fury and Wilder met three times – the first fight ended in a draw, and Tyson won twice.
The Briton will hold his next fight on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against WBO, WBA and IBF world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik.
Earlier, Fury’s father named his son’s main mistake and called for it to be corrected in the fight against Usik.
