The poem of the Ukrainian world boxing champion became the basis of the patriotic musical composition.
WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk continues to motivate Ukrainians to do better. This time, the boxer recognized himself creatively.
Usik helped produce a song for artist DREVO. Alexander wrote the lyrics of the song, because the composition “Be patient, Cossack” is based on the boxer’s poem of the same name.
Usik published his work in February 2023. “We worked on the song for 3 months. Thanks to everyone for their support,” DREVO commented on the collaboration.
