Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua made a prediction in favor of the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles Alexandra Usika in the upcoming fight with the WBC champion Tyson Fury and explained why he thinks so.
“I don’t want to say who will win. I don’t know. Usyk – I think he will win. He is a very good fighter. I’ve never fought Tyson Fury, so I don’t know how good he is. But I fought Oleksandr Usyk twice, and in each fight he fought differently.”
“I think he has a good chance because he is adaptable. A good fighter knows how to adapt. He has more than one trick up his sleeve, so I think everything will be fine.”
The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the fight was planned to be organized on December 23 in Riyadh. However, it later became clear that Tyson would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.
Joshua will fight Ngannou next. The fight will take place on March 8 in Riyadh.
