Fury to Usik: No one who wears an earring can defeat me

This time the Briton decided to find fault with the appearance of his Ukrainian opponent

WBC world champion Tyson Fury once again verbally attacked the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles Alexandra Usikahis future opponent in the fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion.

I know he can’t beat me. The man who wears the earring will never beat Tyson Fury. Never. Without a chance. No one who wears an earring can defeat me,” said the “Gypsy King.”

The Ukrainian champion did not shy away and answered his opponent:

“I can explain what it is. This is a Ukrainian warrior – a Cossack. These are the people who defended my country for many years from the enemy. Here is only confirmation of my Cossack family. They didn’t lose to anyone. There is no beauty or fashion in this.”

Fury said:

“Look, maybe in Ukraine this means to him that he is a good fighter, but in my homeland it means that he is a coward with an earring in his ear.”

The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the fight was planned to be organized on December 23 in Riyadh. However, it later became clear that Tyson would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.

Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.
