Athletistic/ Boxing. The International Boxing Association (IBA) will hold an extraordinary congress in Yerevan from September 24 to October 1, 2022.
According to Sport24, citing Inside the Games, a re-election of the president of the organization will take place within the framework of this congress. Since 2020, this position has been occupied by Russian Umar Kremlev.
It was the Kremlin that proposed a new election after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled Dutchman Boris van der Voorst could stand in the IBA presidential election last month. Following these elections, Umar Kremlev won for lack of other candidates.
