On January 26, during a fight at a mixed martial arts competition in Kirov, one of the athletes died from head trauma.

On January 26, at the Yunost sports school, an 18-year-old athlete suffered a head injury during a training session. Despite the help of doctors, he died from his injuries in the ambulance.
Investigators and forensic doctors from the investigation department went to the scene of the incident. A set of investigative actions are underway aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
