The Ukrainian gave birth to his fourth child, Fury has seven children
Scheduled for February 17 in Riyadh heavyweight unification bout between world champion according to WBA/WBO/IBH/IBO versions Alexander Usik and WBC champion Tyson Fury should become the main event in the history of professional boxing over the past few years. But besides the absence of defeats in his professional career, championship titles and incredible charisma, Fury and Usyk have one more thing in common. Their family stories are incredibly similar, and each of the boxers is the father of many children.
Usik and Fury met their wives at school age
Alexander and Katerina Usik repeatedly said in their interviews that they first met at school. It happened in Simferopol, where they studied.
Tyson and Paris met at the age of 16, at the wedding of mutual friends. It is noteworthy that, like the boxer, Paris is from a family of Irish gypsies.
Fury got married a year before Usik
Alexander and Katerina got married in 2009. The official ceremony took place in one of the registry offices of Simferopol; there was also a wedding in the capital of Crimea. At that time, Usik played as a member of the Ukrainian amateur team, had “gold” and “bronze” at the European Championship, victories at several prestigious international tournaments and participation in the Olympic Games.
Tyson and Paris Fury officially legalized their relationship a little earlier: in December 2008. It is noteworthy that at that time Fury was already a professional boxer.
Fury had his first child earlier
The first child in the Tyson and Paris family, daughter Venezuela, was born in September 2009. In the family of Alexander and Katerina, the first child was also a girl, Elizaveta, born in 2010.
Fury and Usyk recently became fathers again
Yesterday it became known that Alexander and Katerina Usik had a fourth child – a girl, Maria, was born in one of the Kyiv maternity hospitals. Now the couple has two boys – sons Kirill and Mikhail and two girls – Lisa and Maria.
It is noteworthy that relatively recently – in September last year – Tyson Fury became a father for the seventh time. Paris gave the Gypsy King a son – Prince Rico Paris. The couple also has daughters Venezuela, Athena, Valencia, as well as sons Prince John James, Prince Tyson II, Prince Adonis Amasia.
Fury beats Usyk with the championship
Oleksandr Usyk won his first championship title in September 2016, defeating Pole Krzysztof Glowacki in a fight for the WBO cruiserweight title.
Fury became the champion in October 2015, having won four belts at once – WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO in the heavyweight division (Usyk now holds them) after defeating Vladimir Klitschko. At the same time, the Briton began his professional career five years earlier than the Ukrainian.
