Vlasov was on Putin’s list of confidants on the eve of the Russian presidential elections.

Together, we must all make a responsible choice in the person of the future president, to predetermine the future historical path of our Fatherland. For me personally and for everyone who considers himself a patriot whose soul is rooted in his native homeland, it is obvious that there is no alternative to the candidacy of the future head of the Russian state . The Russian presidential elections will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024.
Vlasov, 33, won gold at the 2012 Games in London and the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The athlete also has three victories at the World Championships and four at the European Championships.
