The Ukrainian boxer recalled his fight with the former absolute lightweight champion.
Vasiliy Lomachenko is confident that he did not lose to Devin Haney in his previous fight. The Ukrainian boxer announced this after the official confirmation of the fight with George Kambosos.
“Kambosos and I fought with Haney. They had different fights, but I don’t think I lost to Devin. Kambosos made two attempts, but he lost both times,” Lomachenko said.
Let’s remember that Lomachenko fought Haney in May of last year. Then the judges gave the victory to the American, and it caused a lot of criticism against them. Before that fight, Haney had defeated Kambosos twice.
Lomachenko and Kambosos will officially fight on May 12 in Perth, Australia.
