Russian fighter Roman Kopylov will replace Ikrama Aliskerova in a duel against an American Anthony Hernandez at the UFC 298 tournament, reports the organization’s press service.
Earlier, the Russian fighter’s manager, Alexander Skaredin, told that Kopylov had signed a contract for a fight against the American. Aliskerov withdrew from the fight due to an infection.
UFC 298 will take place on February 17 in Anaheim (USA).
Kopylov is 32 years old; During his MMA career, he had 12 wins and two losses. The Russian has won his last four UFC fights ahead of schedule. Hernández has 11 wins and two losses.
