Athletistic/ Boxing. Former UFC champion in two weight categories Daniel Cormier believes that the main event of the tournament at number 300 should have been a fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
“I think a fight between McGregor and Diaz would attract a lot of attention. Because of the way the first fight went, because of the way the second fight went, the third fight could also appeal to a wide audience. The plot would be really great,” Cormier said.
McGregor and Diaz have fought twice before. The first fight ended in an early victory for Diaz. In the second fight, McGregor won by majority decision.
