Russian judoka Timur Arbuzov won a bronze medal at the Grand Slam stage in Paris.
In the fight for third place, Arbuzov, competing in the weight category up to 81 kg, defeated the representative of Tajikistan, Somon Makhmadbekov. Another bronze medalist was Canadian François Gautier-Drapeau.
Belgium’s Matthias Cass won gold and Azerbaijan’s Zelim Tkaev took silver.
The stage in the French capital will end on Sunday.
Russian judokas participate in tournaments under the auspices of the International Judo Federation with a neutral status.
