A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of mixed martial arts fighter Magomedrasul Mutaev admitted his guilt and spoke in detail about the circumstances of the incident, reports the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening in Makhachkala. An unknown person fired several shots from an unidentified weapon at 21-year-old Mutaev, who died on the way to the hospital. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings for murder and illegal arms trafficking. According to media reports, the crime was committed by 18-year-old Nadyrkhan K.. Earlier on Saturday, the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Dagestan announced the detention of the suspect.
