Athletistic/MMA. Suspects in the murder of MMA fighter Magomed Mutaev have admitted their guilt. At the crime scene, he described in detail how he committed the crime.
“Investigators verified the testimony on the spot with the participation of an 18-year-old local resident who had previously been arrested as a suspect. The suspect spoke in detail about the circumstances of the incident, showed where he hid the ‘murder weapon and how he committed the murder,’ says a statement from the press service of the RF IC investigative department for the Republic of Dagestan.
Previously, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said that the motive was “the presence of previous hostile personal relations with the victim.”
On the evening of January 31, Magomed Mutaev was shot near his home in Makhachkala. The criminal shot the 21-year-old Russian at least seven times. The athlete died from gunshot wounds on the way to the hospital. Suspected of Mutaev’s murder, 18-year-old Nadyrkhan Kadirkhanov was put on the wanted list. He was arrested on February 3.
Magomed Muatev was a student of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
