The promoter of the British boxer commented on the postponement of the fight for the title of absolute champion.

Frank Warren has denied all accusations of deliberately delaying the fight for the title of absolute champion of the world.

Tyson Fury’s promoter said that his client is not afraid of the Ukrainian, but on the contrary, he knows how to beat him.

“I have a lot of confidence in him. I believe that Tyson is the best heavyweight. It is clear that after the last fight with Ngannou there were questions. As for me, the day he won the fight, “he took himself a day off.” I have seen several times how relaxed boxers lose, but Fury wins the fight.

It is also worth paying attention to Usik – Alexander versus Dubois. Daniel showed that Usyk can be poked and is quite vulnerable to body shots. I don’t know if Tyson will take advantage of this or choose someone else to win the fight, but I really like him. I wouldn’t even think about betting on him. If I thought he was going to lose the fight, I tried to talk him out of it,” Warren mentioned to BoxingScene.

We remind you that Usik’s fight with Fury, which was supposed to take place on February 17, was postponed due to the cut Tyson received during sparring with Agron Smakichi. Now the boxers will meet in mid-May.

Earlier, former world champion Carl Froch expressed doubts that fans will see the Usyk-Fury fight.
