“No, I’m done with MMA. I promised. That’s why I keep my word. So everything had to be done at its own pace,” said Emelianenko, 47.
The UFC management tried at least twice to organize a fight between Emelianenko and Lesnar – in 2009 and 2012, but this fight never took place.
Emelianenko retired from MMA in February last year. He now plans to fight according to boxing rules.
