Uzbek UFC fighter Bogdan Guskov, in an interview with , spoke about his communication with former UFC heavyweight Dmitry Sosnovsky, who is serving a long prison sentence.
Sosnowski was arrested in November 2019 and was later sentenced to 8.5 years in prison for kidnapping and extortion. Before his arrest, Sosnovsky’s MMA stats were 11 wins, 0 losses. Together with UFC fighter Bogdan Guskov, the heavyweight represented the GOR MMA club from Moscow.
— Do you have any links with Dmitry Sosnovsky, your teammate, who was sentenced to a fairly long prison sentence?
– Yes, we keep in touch, maybe not as often as we would like, but we communicate, and God willing, everything will soon be resolved – and Dima will be free.
— Is he eligible for parole and have you asked him if he plans to return to mixed martial arts?
