Fighter Vasilevsky doesn’t think fight with Kovalev will be easy

Mixed martial arts fighter Vyacheslav Vasilyevsky does not consider the fight with the Belarusian Vladislav Kovalev easy for yourself.

The fight between Vasilevsky and Kovalev, nicknamed Belaz, will take place on March 1 in Moscow and will be the headliner of the Ural FC 6 tournament. The format of the fight is five two-minute rounds according to the rules of boxing with gloves MMA. The fight will take place in the weight category up to 84 kg.

— We cannot call this struggle easy or, as they say in fashion, easy money. Belaz has been fighting quite often and successfully lately. Yes, we fight according to the rules of boxing, and he is not a boxer at all. But therein lies its danger: it is unpredictable. His punches take strange angles. Sometimes even he himself does not understand where they will fly from. In addition, he is quite strong physically and is constantly moving forward. He has passion and courage – he constantly fights, wins, hypes and performs tricks. I am not underestimating him in any way. I think we will have a competitive fight. That’s how I listen,” said Vasilevsky, whose comments to were provided by the Ural FC press service.

Vasilevsky has 36 wins and nine losses in MMA, while Kovalev has four wins and two losses.
