Russian Mansur Malashiev defeated Japan’s Yosuke Saruta at the ONE Fight Night 19 tournament.
The fight took place according to the rules of MMA in the weight category up to 56.7 kg (ONE straw weight) at the Lumpini Arena in Bangkok and ended in victory for the Russian. The fight lasted all three rounds, Malashiev won by unanimous decision.
This was Malashiev’s third fight under the auspices of ONE. During his first fight in June 2023 against Jeremy Miado, the Russian won by submission in the last minute of the first round. In the second fight, which took place as part of the ONE Fight Night 15 card against Joshua Pasio, the judges unanimously awarded the victory to Malachiev’s opponent.
Malachiev, 32, is a former Eagle FC bantamweight champion, Russian grappling champion and master of combat sports sambo.
