Mixed martial arts fighter Jeff Monson told that he was upset by the cancellation of the fight with the president of the Boxing Federation of Ingushetia Lom-Ali Gazgiriev.
The boxing match was to take place on March 10 in Ingushetia.
“I’m upset that my fight with Gazgiriev was canceled. I don’t know the reason for the failure of the fight, but I want to fight, I want to perform! I hope that soon I will have the opportunity to fight and I can show what I am capable of,” Monson told .
During his MMA career, Monson had 60 victories, suffered 26 defeats and one of his fights ended in a draw. In May 2023, the fighter told that he had surrendered his US citizen passport to the embassy and now only has Russian citizenship.
