Athletistic/MMA. Russian mixed martial arts fighter Rinat Fakhretdinov, who competes in the welterweight division of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC), explained how he tried to buy an apartment in Saransk. His words are quoted.
“Now I am saving money to buy an apartment. I was going to buy an apartment in Saransk, but I looked at the prices and cried. I realized that it was better to wait a year and buy a house in Moscow”, Sport24 quotes Fakhretdinov.
On July 2, 2023, Rinat Fakhretdinov defeated the American Kevin Lee during the UFC tournament in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA). Their fight ended in the first minute, when the Russian “strangled” his opponent. In November 2023, Fakhretdinov met Brazilian Eliseu Zaleski dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 231. This fight ended in a draw by majority decision.
Rinat Fakhretdinov has 23 fights in MMA – 21 victories, one draw and one defeat. The 31-year-old Russian is currently ranked 15th in the UFC welterweight rankings.
