“Kovalev, in his own way, will move forward, and Vasilevsky will detect mistakes” – Gabdullin

General Director of FC Ural Radmir Gabdullin believes that fighter Vyacheslav Vasilevsky is excellent at catching opponents in mistakes, and Belarusian Vladislav Kovalev, in turn, applies pressure.

The fight between Vasilevsky and Kovalev, nicknamed Belaz, will take place on March 1 in Moscow and will lead the Ural FC 6 tournament. The format of the fight is five two-minute rounds according to the rules of boxing with MMA gloves. The fight will take place in the weight category up to 84 kg.

— The fight between Vasilevsky and Belaz is a very cool decision on the part of our matchmakers. It’s a good idea. Vasilevsky is an honored master of combat sambo sports, a brilliant athlete who has done a lot for the development of combat sambo and MMA in Russia. And Kovalev is a bold, hungry and tireless fighter. And such a poster is the decoration of our tournament. Both have punch and character.

This confrontation can be characterized by youth and tireless ambition versus experience and high professionalism. I think that Belaz, in his own way, will move forward, and Vasilevsky will look for opportunities and make up for his opponent’s mistakes. After all, we know very well how Vasilevsky can catch up with his opponent. I am sure we will see a brilliant, dynamic and spectacular fight. “I’m looking forward to this meeting,” said Gabdullin, whose comments to were provided by the Ural FC press service.

Vasilevsky has 36 wins and nine losses in MMA, while Kovalev has four wins and two losses.
