The ex-UFC champion compared two top boxers, one of whom he lost to last year, and the second he will fight soon
Former UFC world champion Francis Ngannou compared his recent opponent, WBC champion Tyson Furywith an upcoming opponent, a former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.
“Anthony Joshua never talks nonsense, his personality is more serious, unlike Tyson Fury who is more of a playboy. I think when it comes to the fight, they both know how to fight and that’s what I’m focused on.”
“Anthony may have been nervous but that doesn’t mean anything, in fact I think nervousness means he takes things very seriously. This is very important because he will make every effort to appear fully armed on this day.”
Let us remember that at the end of October 2023, Ngannou lost to Fury by split decision in his debut professional boxing match. The Cameroonian made a good impression against the current champion title holder, knocking down the “Gypsy King” and inflicting several cuts on the Briton.
The Cameroonian will have his next fight on March 8 under boxing rules against former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua. The fight will take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Recently it became known that he will also fight against the winner of the fight between Renan Ferreira and Ryan Bader in the Professional Fighters League (PFL). The event date has not yet been determined.
