American Brandon Royval defeated the Mexican Brandon Moreno in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 237, which took place in Mexico City.
The flyweight fight lasted all five rounds and Royval was declared the winner by split decision.
This is the fighters’ second face-to-face; in 2020, Moreno beat the American by technical knockout.
Royval has 16 wins and seven losses in his MMA career, Moreno has won 21 times and been defeated eight times, two of his fights ended in a draw.
In the co-main bout of the evening, the American Brian Ortega defeated the Mexican Yair Rodriguez by choke in the third round.
