The German Berisha and the Argentinean Armada were unable to provide decent resistance to the Ukrainians
Ukrainian heavyweight boxers Igor Shevadzutsky (10–1, 8 KO) and Victor Vykhrist (12-1, 8 KOs) consistently won early victories at the boxing evening in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Shevadzutsky defeated the German representative Edonis Berisha (7-1, 6 KOs), and Vykhrist confidently dealt with the experienced Argentinean Marcos Antonio Armada (25-13, 20 KOs).
For Igor, two rounds (out of six planned) were enough for the Ukrainian to prove his advantage. Then Berisha refused to continue the fight – the victory automatically went to his opponent.
Thus, Shevadzutsky was rehabilitated for the defeat by Martin Bakole, which he suffered in April last year.
The fight with the participation of Vykhrist (a similar category over 90.7 kg) became the central event of the event. The Argentine veteran was unable to fight on equal terms with his opponent, but lasted longer than his German colleague. The result was Vykhrist’s victory by technical knockout in the fourth round.
Let us remind you that Victor had a previous fight in February 2023 against Cuban Lenier Perot. The Ukrainian was injured during the fight and lost by technical knockout in the eighth round. The boxer recovered and announced his return to the ring at the end of last year.
