General Director of Ural FC Radmir Gabdullin told that the fight between Alexander Emelianenko And Vyacheslav Datsik is planned for the end of March – beginning of April.
At the end of January, it became known that Alexander Emelianenko signed a contract with Ural FC. Then the fighter’s manager, Nikita Burchak, clarified that the agreement was for three fights.
— About Alexander Emelianenko’s fight at FC Ural… We are talking about the end of March or the beginning of April. We negotiate with the channels to choose a date that will suit everyone. We don’t want to postpone this fight for too long. We want to fight on March 30, or early April.
—Who do you consider a rival?
— For now, we are considering Vyacheslav Datsik. We want to stage a rematch for them. Sasha may not have been at her best in their first fight. I thought so. And we want to stage a rematch.
— According to what rules do you intend to organize the fight?
— We are considering this question. Maybe it will be classic boxing. In other words, it will be a full-fledged revenge. But everything is at the reflection stage. Perhaps there is also an option for a fight according to the rules of boxing with MMA gloves,” Gabdullin told .
Emelianenko, 42, has 28 victories during his MMA career, suffered nine defeats and one of his fights ended in a draw. Since last summer, he has been undergoing rehabilitation in Ingushetia. Emelianenko had his last fight in May 2023, when he defeated blogger Evgeny Ershov ahead of schedule. In September 2022, Emelianenko lost to Datsik via 13th minute knockout in a boxing match.
