The Spanish fighter posted on social networks a photo of the Russian fighter’s fight with Adrian Martins, in which Makhachev was defeated by knockout. Topuria captioned the image: “The boy knocked you out.”
“Another little guy who talks and wants to be crushed,” Makhachev commented in an interview with MMAUncensored.
Previously, Makhachev defeated former UFC champion Alex Volkanovski twice. In his last fight, the Australian fighter suffered a knockout loss to Topuria in a featherweight title fight at UFC 298 on the night of February 18.
