Ranked #1 cfu in bantamweight (up to 61.2 kg) petr yan will fight with an American fighter Sean O’Malley as part of the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi, reports the press service of the organization.
The fight will take place on October 22.
Jan, 29, who sits at the top row of the UFC bantamweight rankings, has 16 wins with three losses. In his last fight in April, the Russian lost by split decision to American Aljamain Sterling.
O’Malley, ranked 13th in the UFC, has 15 wins and one loss. The 27-year-old fighter’s last fight was in early July with Pedro Munoz, but that fight was declared a draw.
