WBC World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Tyson’s Fury becomes sponsor of the English club “Morecambe” of the city of the same name.
The press office of the club, playing in one of the lowest professional leagues in the country, has announced that Fury’s brand name ‘Gypsy King’ will be applied to the uniform in the 2022/23 season.
“I love the Morecambe area and would love to support my local club,” said the boxer, who lives in that town.
In April 2022, Fury defeated Dillian Whyte by TKO to retain the WBC and The Ring world titles.
In the coming season, Morecambe will play in the English League 1. In the last championship, the team took 19th place in the table.
