UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria I contacted a Russian on a social network Islam Makhachev and reminded him of the only defeat of his career.
Topuria won the title in a fight with Alexander Volkanovski on February 18. After the fight, Makhachev congratulated Ilya on his victory and called him “bijo”, which translates from Georgian as “boy”.
“This boy will beat you,” Topuria replied to Makhachev and attached a video with Makhachev’s only defeat to Brazilian Adriano Martins in 2015.
Makhachev owns the UFC lightweight championship belt and has 25 victories in 26 fights.
