President of Russia Vladimir Poutine greeted the participants of the international tournament “Moscow Wushu Stars”, which started in Moscow on February 28.

More than 600 athletes from different countries participate in the tournament every year. In 2023, athletes from Afghanistan, Belarus, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China arrived at the competition.

“Today the Moscow Wushu Palace hospitably welcomes the strongest athletes from different regions of our country and many foreign countries – a brilliant team of experienced and young participants, who are distinguished by excellent physical fitness, hard work Exceptional relentlessness, self-control and a winning attitude.

The Moscow Wushu Stars tournament will end on March 5. The competition program includes competitions in various areas and styles of wushu: taolu (competitions of wushu complexes with fists and complexes with weapons), traditional kungfu-wushu (competitions of traditional wushu complexes of different styles and directions), sanda (full contact fights on a platform).
