The Ukrainian will hold the next fight on July 30
Ukrainian middleweight boxer Sergey Derevyanchenko (13-4, 10 KOs) shared his opinion about his next fight against the American Joshua Conley (17-3-1, 11 KOs). He noted that in this fight he will fight for Ukrainewhich opposes the military aggression of Russia.
“As you already know, on July 30th I will again enter the ring and fight for my place in this business, for my family and, of course, for my country. My struggle under the Ukrainian flag, I hope, will once again remind the whole world that the war in Ukraine is far from over. In fact, this is the most important thing for us Ukrainians now. We are all emotionally traumatized after February 24, but this will make us even stronger, ”Derevyanchenko wrote on Instagram.
“Also, I want to say a big thank you to all my fans around the world. From time to time you send me kind words of support and I always appreciate it. On July 30, I will do my best not to disappoint you.”
The Derevyanchenko-Conley fight will take place on July 30 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on the undercard of the Danny Garcia vs. Jose Benavidez fight.
The last time the 36-year-old Ukrainian entered the ring was in December 2021. Then Derevyanchenko lost by decision to the Dominican Carlos Adames.
