The British world champion commented on the upcoming fight with the Ukrainian boxer.
Tyson Fury does not want to predict and plan opponents for himself after the fight against Oleksandr Usik.
The WBC title holder shared his opinion about the fight for the title of absolute world champion.
According to the Briton, at the moment he is not even thinking about a rematch with the Ukrainian, because each fight has its own, unique story.
“I agree to only one match at a time. After all, I could get a concussion and die in the first fight with Usyk. You can’t plan for the next matches. I might get hit by a train, who knows. Just one match at a time.
Then we’ll see how I feel. If everything goes well, if I’m in shape, I’m ready, healthy and injury-free, then I’ll do something again. Otherwise, I’ll end my career,” said Fury on The Stomping Ground.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury fight was supposed to take place on February 17, but Fury received a cut in sparring. Because of this, the match was postponed to May 18.
Fury had earlier assessed his condition after being cut during training.
