The former world champion made his prediction for the fight for the title of absolute world champion.
Anthony Joshua shares his opinion about the fight between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury.
The former world champion believes that the Ukrainian boxer will win, but wishes victory to his compatriot.
“Usyk will win, I don’t know if I’ve always said this, but I think Usyk will win.
Who do I wish success to? That’s a good question. Probably, from a logical point of view, it would be Fury, because it would be a bigger fight if he fought me. Fury always says he doesn’t want to fight. If he wins it’s a bigger fight for me, but that’s the only reason I said Fury. For my own good, for my selfish motives,” Joshua said in an interview with the iFL TV YouTube channel.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury fight was supposed to take place on February 17, but Fury received a cut in sparring. Because of this, the match was postponed to May 18.
Previously, Joshua demanded that Usyk break Fury’s jaw.
