The Briton knocked out former UFC champion Francis Ngannou
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua commented on his victory over the former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
“That’s the thing about boxing. In the heavyweight division you only need one punch.”
“You always have to keep looking for the best. For me, I don’t know if I will reach my peak, I work day by day. Who knows where this will take me. Imagine in five years I won’t be fighting anymore, everything will be said and done. So I try to make the most of it.”
Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round. The Briton once again knocked Francis down, and with the next blow ended the fight early.
Joshua scored his 28th victory in the professional ring. Ngannou suffered a second defeat in his second fight under boxing rules.
Let us recall that in January, the Saudi organizers of the largest boxing matches announced their desire to hold an event in which the winners of the fights Alexander Usik – Tyson Fury and Joshua – Ngannou will meet.
