Russian fighter Aboubakar Vagaev reached the final of the ASA Grand Prix at welterweight, defeating the representative of Kyrgyzstan Edil Esengulov at the ASA 172 tournament in Moscow.
Vagaev won by unanimous decision. In the final, Vagaev’s opponent will be Albert Tumenov.
Bantamweight semi-final Mehdi Baidulayev defeated Makharbek Karginov, winning early in the second round by submission. In the final, Baidulaev will meet Magomed Bibulatov .
In the light heavyweight semi-final, Adlan Ibragimov defeated Leonardo Silva by split decision and will meet Faridun Odilov in the Grand Prix final.
Heavy weights Adam Bogatyrev became the second runner-up in the Grand Prix, defeating Kirill Kornilov by choke in the semifinals. In the final, Bogatyrev’s opponent will be Evgeny Goncharov.
