Manager of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White said he wasn’t surprised by the promotion’s former heavyweight champion’s loss Francis Ngannou in a boxing match with a former world champion according to WBA, WBO and IBF Antoine Joshua .
The fight took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and ended with a victory for Joshua by knockout in the second round. In the first round, the Briton knocked down Ngannou with a right hand to the jaw, but the Cameroonian came to his senses and was able to continue the fight. In the second round, Ngannou was knocked down again, after which Joshua delivered a decisive attack and eliminated his opponent. For Ngannou, this is the second fight in professional boxing after his debut on October 28 last year in a fight with Tyson Fury who won by split decision.
