The Ukrainian boxer is in a training camp preparing for the fight for the title of absolute world champion.
Oleksandr Usyk has started the training camp for the fight against Tyson Fury. This was announced by the manager of the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF super heavyweight champion, Egis Klimas.
According to the functionary, the Ukrainian boxer really hopes that he will finally meet the Briton in the ring.
“Everything is fine with Alexander. He has started the camp. Now he is in the camp in Spain, training and preparing for the match.
We hope and pray that the match will take place. I hope everything will be fine, and on May 18 these men are entering the ring and the best will win,” said Klimas on iFL TV.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury fight was supposed to take place on February 17, but Fury received a cut in sparring. Because of this, the match was postponed to May 18.
Previously, Fury promised that it would be easy to face Usyk in the ring.
