The head of the RCC, Nikolai Klimenko, admitted that he did not believe in victory Alexandra Emelianenko above Vyacheslav Datsik and is not going to watch the fight live.
On Friday it became known that the rematch between Alexander Emelianenko and Datsik will take place on April 12 in Moscow and will headline the Ural FC 7 tournament. The format of the fight is boxing with MMA gloves, 5 rounds of 2 minutes.
“I’ll be honest, I won’t watch this fight live. I don’t believe in Alexander’s victory in this fight. But I am glad that Alexander has long controlled himself, trains, communicates with his daughter and participates in various events, and remains in the public eye. He has a very difficult journey, we all know that. I want what he and those who help him fought for to stay with him – health, inner peace – that’s the key,” Klimenko told .
In September 2022, Datsik knocked out Emelianenko in a boxing match in the 13th second. Emelianenko, 42, has 28 victories during his MMA career, suffered nine defeats and one of his fights ended in a draw. Since last summer, he has been undergoing rehabilitation in Ingushetia. Datsik’s last fight took place in October 2023, when Vyacheslav lost to Peter Romankevich.
