After achieving her fourth consecutive victory in the ONE Championship league, Muay Thai athlete Natalya Dyachkova received an invitation to the main roster of Asia’s biggest league.
At ONE Friday Fights 55, which took place in Bangkok at the Lumpini Stadium on March 15, 29-year-old Dyachkova won the thirtieth victory in her career. The fight took place according to the rules of Muay Thai in the weight category up to 56.7 kg.
The Russian’s opponent, the Dutchwoman Cerilla Cherigno, 24 years old, despite her experience and her 88 fights, did not manage to find the keys to her dominant opponent. The girls immediately got into a high rhythm, moving around the ring a lot and performing “recon” strikes. The Russian pressured and pressed her opponent, and while stepping back, she kept her at bay with thrusting kicks.
As soon as the referee reminded them that they needed to increase their activity, the rivals began to exchange in the middle of the second minute. Dyachkova clearly threw an overhand forehand and, in combination, grabbed her opponent’s chin with her right hand, then finished with a left hook. Cerinho flew to the canvas, tried to get up, but fell on her back and the fight was stopped prematurely.
Dyachkova needed less than two minutes to face Cerigno. The fight ended with the Russian winning by knockout at 01:44 in the first round.
For her outstanding performance, Dyachkova received a $10,000 bonus, as well as an invitation to join the ONE Championship main roster, backed by a contract worth $100,000.
