After starring as an actor, McGregor returns to commenting on returning to the octagons and says he is eager; see statement
About to complete two years outside the octagons, the Irishman, Conor McGregor, spoke again about a possible return to the UFC. Appearing anxious about the possibility, ‘The Notorious’ also reminded the press that there are two more fights left in his contract with the organization, which he intends to fulfill.
“I’m looking forward to getting back, resetting, recalibrating and remapping my return to the Octagon. Can not wait. We are in the first quarter of 2024. We still have a good part of the year ahead of us. I still have two fights left on my contract. Negotiations are ongoing. When the film’s promotional work and St. Patrick’s Day are over, it will be isolation and focus to return to the Octagon“, said.

The film mentioned, in fact, was McGregor’s acting debut, despite being one of the main names in world MMA in recent years. Asked if he would return to work on the big screen, Conor made a point of reaffirming that his next focus will be fighting, so that he can then think about this world again.
“At the time no. After (the fight), maybe next year or something. I don’t know. I will never say “never”, because I had a lot of fun and met some friends that I will keep for life. I liked the process. Who knows what the future holds in this industry?”, added McGregor at one of the promotional events.
It is worth remembering that his last MMA fight was held in July 2021, when he fractured a bone in his leg in a fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then, he has recovered from his injury and ventured into boxing, in addition to being involved in several controversies during this period.
