Fighter Jeff Monson told that he would like to fight the winner of the rematch between Alexander Emelianenko and Vyacheslav Datsik.
On Friday it became known that the rematch between Emelianenko and Datsik will take place on April 12 in Moscow and will headline the Ural FC 7 tournament. The format of the fight is boxing with MMA gloves, 5 rounds of 2 minutes . In September 2022, Datsik knocked out Emelianenko in a boxing match in the 13th second.
“What do I think about the fight between Alexander Emelianenko and Vyacheslav Datsik… I can say one thing: I want to fight the winner of this confrontation,” Monson told .
Monson beat Emelianenko under MMA rules in 2012 and lost in February 2022 to Emelianenko in a fist fight.
During his MMA career, Monson, 53, had 60 victories, suffered 26 defeats and one of his fights ended in a draw.
