Josh Taylor considers the Ukrainian boxer to be a higher class athlete compared to the Briton.
Anthony Joshua has no chance of fighting Alexander Usik if the boxers meet in the ring again. Former undisputed junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor says so.
According to the expert, the Ukrainian is a better boxer than the Briton. And the only thing Joshua can hope for is the knockout.
“I think Usik will win 10 out of 10 fights against Joshua. Unless, I suppose, Joshua will catch him with a strong punch. I just think that the way Usik moves, what kind of boxing IQ has, in general his general understanding of boxing is everything this immediately gives Usyk a chance to beat Joshua 10 times out of 10. I’m saying this in general terms, I respect Joshua. That’s my opinion. I just think Joshua will be beat up every single time . And it’s still like that until he changes tactics, it should be based on physical training. You have to emphasize using your physical strength. That could work. But I don’t see that,” Taylor said in a comment to Pro Boxing Fans.
We remind you that the next fight of Alexander Usik should take place on May 18, 2024, when he will meet the British Tyson Fury in the ring, it will be a fight for the title of absolute world champion.
Earlier, the sparring partner of Usik and Fury challenged Joshua.
