Russian fighter Pierre Yan successfully underwent surgery for a torn meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Yang, 31, fought his last fight on March 9 at the UFC 299 tournament, defeating China’s Song Yadong by decision in a three-round fight. Based on the results of an MRI, the Russian was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament of the knee.
