The British WBC world heavyweight champion insists that he is not afraid of the Ukrainian.
Tyson Fury aims to perform the same fight with Alexander Usik, stipulated in the contract.
According to the British boxer, after their first fight, they should have a rematch before the end of this year, where there is no more IBF belt.
“I know people want to fight me. But if I beat Usyk, I will become the undisputed champion. And then I will fight him again.
As I understand it, a title will be chosen. So I will have two fights with Oleksandr Usyk this year,” Fury told The Stomping Ground.
We remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury is scheduled to take place on May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Fury had previously assessed his form for the Usik fight.
