Fighters Alexander Emelianenko and Artem Tarasov had a friendly MMA training session in Moscow, reports a correspondent.
Emelianenko, 42, has 28 victories during his MMA career, suffered nine defeats and one of his fights ended in a draw. The last time Emelianenko fought was in May 2023, when he beat blogger Evgeny Ershov ahead of schedule. Emelianenko’s conditioning in this fight has raised questions. After this fight, he completed a rehabilitation course in Ingushetia. In September 2021, Emelianenko defeated Tarasov in a fight according to the rules of boxing with MMA gloves.
Rematch between Alexander Emelianenko and Vyacheslav Datsik will take place on April 12 in Moscow and will lead the Ural FC 7 tournament. The format of the fight is boxing with MMA gloves, 5 rounds of 2 minutes. In September 2022, Datsik knocked out Emelianenko in a boxing match in the 13th second.
